La Cascada de Fuego » Liquid Sunshine – Horsetail Falls, Yosemite National Park, Calif

Since my last post had a substantially long write-up, I’ve decided to keep this one brief.

Every year in February, there exists a chance of sunset light hitting Horsetail Falls in Yosemite. I made the trip this weekend and although there was the “oh, you should have seen it last night!”, I was still happy with my first experience with this phenomenon.

I also ran into wildlife and landscape photographer, Justin Reznick, and his valentine Chris. It was great meeting you both.

This is a six image stitch using my 70-200mm and 1.4x teleconverter, and I used my Singh-Ray Gold-N-Blue Polarizer to help really bring out the golden light of on the wispy falls.
